After a week in Whistler, a small town in British Columbia, where I spent the time getting this blog up and running (seriously, I spent the whole week doing that) I’m now moving on to Italy, and I’ll be posting from each area I stay.
First stop: Milan.
For the next few weeks, I’ll be posting from Italia, the center of all things fashion (and the name of this blog!)
After my first walk around the city I’ve planned out multiple beauty stops, such as a rather large Sephora, the store Kiko Milano, NYX, and a few other makeup brands I’ve never heard of but I’m excited to try.
Of course, there’s the enormous Duomo di Milano in the center of the city that looks beautiful lit up at night.
I just love walking around a city at night when I first arrive. After a long flight from Vancouver to London Heathrow, then a shorter flight from Heathrow to Linate, it felt so nice to do something other than sit cooped up in an airplane.
Also, burrata. Italy has burrata which is a beautiful thing (it’s like mozzarella but better).
I’m extremely jet lagged, but super excited to be here! I hope you enjoy the coming posts I have planned from Milan.
