Quick note: Ignore the price tag in the photo above. This photo was text in Canada when these retail for $29 CAD. In the US, they’re $23 USD.
Today I’ll be sharing some swatches of the popular cheek pop by Clinique. I really love this blush! I’ve swatched 4 of the available 11 shades. I couldn’t help but notice that each of these shades looked similar to Elf Blush palette in light. I’m not saying they’re exact dupes, but blended out on the face they might look very similar…
First up here is Ginger pop which is my favorite color in this lineup. It’s basically a warm peach shade that looks stunning! Berry Pop is a little darker and reminds me of the powder version of Glossier Cloud Paint (review here) in haze. Plum pop is a light pink that reminds me of the cloud paint in puff and will likely only show up on super fair skin tones. Finally peach pop is your standard peach blush that looks exactly like Milani baked blush in Luminoso.
So clearly, these are all super basic colors that nearly every brand has some version of, and blended onto the cheeks they can look very similar. However, these blushes feel very high quality with minimal fall out. They have a luminous finish- not exactly matte and with no visible glitter particles. If you’re looking for a beautiful, easy to wear blush, this could be the one!
