Gone swatching: RMS luminizers

Blog, Gone swatching

Today I’ll be sharing some swatches of the RMS luminizers, including the living luminizer, magic luminizer, and the master mixer.

I’ve recently reviewed the living luminizer here, and I’ve everything about it. For more of my thoughts on the formula, click the link above to see the full review.

I want to start out by mentioning how much I love the packaging for the RMS products. They’re all so elegant with the white screw tops and frosted glass bottoms.

For now, keep reading to view the swatches of the various hyped highlights RMS offers!

The living luminizer is a subtle silvery highlight that I absolutely love. I mostly prefer cream highlights for a lighter look or for travel because

  1. I don’t have to pack a brush and
  2. I don’t have to worry about the powder breaking.

Powder highlights (*ahem* BECCA) are notorious for breaking and cracking. When Champagne Pop broke, I didn’t have to google “how to put pressed powder back together” I merely googled “how to put champagne pop back together.”

Anyways, I really like this shade. It’s super light and doesn’t give any color to my face or any glitter like most powder highlights. It gives me the most impossibly glowy look to my face. Highly recommend this one!

Master mixer is a little darker, and on my skin I could probably use it as a slight bronzer or a deeper highlight. This has the same glitter-free look as the living luminizer and has the same formula.

The Mater luminizer is a gold that looks pretty blinding in the above photo, but blended out on the face it looks stunning. It looks more white-gold than warm-gold which is good because warmer golds are really unflattering on me.

A few notes on these products overall:

I wouldn’t recommend this for people with oily skin because it will slide off you skin. I also don’t recommend this for people who want a super blinding highlights or lots of glitter/shimmer.

As always, these products are all natural and contain lots of coconut oil which can clog pores. I’ve never had an issue with that, but it is something to be aware of. I really like these products and they work super well with my skin type, but that won’t be true for everyone.

Ciao bella!
