Gone swatching: Tarte rainforest of the sea Color Splash Lipstick

Blog, Gone swatching

Wow that’s a long name.

Ciao! Welcome to another episode of gone swatching, where I’ll be swatching my favorite nude lipsticks from the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Color Splash lipstick collection. I haven’t bought any of them yet, but I’ve been eying the collection every time I visit Sephora. The marbled blue packaging is beautiful (yet a tad chunky) and I love the lipsticks!

Salt Lyfe is my favorite (definitely the first shade I’ll buy) because I love that kind of nude mauve. Pink Lemonade is way to peach and light for me, but I’m sure it’ll suit some super pale girls. Siesta is a rich brown that might lean a tad too dark for my taste, but I still think it’s cool. Colada is a warm brown while Crusin is a little more neutral  and vacay is lighter. The formula is like the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick, but to me, it felt a little stiffer. That could be caused by the lipstick being on display and exposed to air at all times.

My final thought is that this line is amazing, and I would recommend checking out at least one of the lipsticks from the line.

Ciao bella!
